A few words about us
The background to our soap production
Soap has been made in the Salzkammergut for centuries. The BENEDIKTINER SEIFENMANUFAKTUR took up this age-old tradition years ago.
Over the course of time, the range became more and more diversified and the selection options became ever greater. Initially there was only cold-stirred curd soap, later olive soap and cold-pressed marigold soap were added, until finally a variety of playful models of glycerine soaps were added to the range.
But the BENEDIKTINER SEIFENMANUFAKTUR proves time and again that you can do more with soap than just wash and care for yourself, with new creative ideas on how to process soap and turn it into a nice gift idea.
As demand continued to grow, the decision was made to expand. Three stores in Seefeld, Bad Ischl and Hallstatt were added to the main business in St. Wolfgang. The natural soaps on offer are lovingly handmade in our manufactory in St. Wolfgang.
We conjure up handmade products from vegetable oils and butters, as well as fruit and herbal extracts. Our natural soaps are produced using a gentle cold process, colored with mineral or food coloring and scented with essential oils! If not otherwise possible, we use perfume oils with a safety certificate.
The essential fragrance oils and plant extracts have a soothing effect and invigorate the senses.
Our soaps have their own recipe that brings out the full benefits of the natural ingredients.
Take your time and have a look around.
